Do-Lab is designed for students ages 7–12. Differentiation of goals across skill levels is handled by the teacher — trained and certified as a Practical Learning Specialist through our programme.

When your school adopts the Do-Lab curriculum, all teachers can view the e-learning platform. Pilot Pack / Full Part: 1 teacher account included. Add extra teachers via Specialist Membership ($245/year per teacher). Whole Programme: unlimited teachers — School License is bundled in. The Specialist track includes theory, assignments, lesson instruction videos and community discussions.

Do-Lab lessons take place in a dedicated workshop space (a 'Do-Lab classroom'). We supply all project-specific materials for each Unit. Sewing machines (2 per group of 6 students), wood planks and reed are sourced locally by your school — more affordable than international shipping and easy to find anywhere. Many schools start with a converted classroom or multi-purpose room.

Absolutely. The core training is via our e-learning platform, so you learn at your own pace alongside your teaching position. Optional on-site workshop days are scheduled at your school's convenience.

The e-learning platform contains theory modules, assignments, lesson instruction videos, downloadable lesson plans and materials, and community discussions. Quarterly live sessions are available for Whole Programme schools. The platform follows the same three Parts as your curriculum, unlocking new content as you progress.

Want to try first? The Pilot Pack starts at $1,995 for three Units (Growy, Running a Business, Cooking) with school-wide e-learning access. Full Part: $5,375 (5 Units, materials, on-site kick-off workshop, school-wide access). Whole Programme: $14,995 (all 15 Units across three years, all materials, 3 workshops, School License included with Specialist Membership for every teacher, no annual renewals — saves $1,130). Additional workshop days at $700/day on-site or $495/2hrs online.

Yes. Our Pilot Pack ($1,995) lets you run three specific Units (Growy, Running a Business, Cooking) — ready to teach in 2 weeks with lesson booklets, e-learning access and guidance included. No materials box required, no on-site workshop. Your full Pilot investment counts toward the Full Part — upgrade for an additional $3,380, the same total cost as buying the Full Part directly. No penalty for starting small.

Per school. When your school purchases any package, all teachers at your school can view the e-learning content of the Units you bought. Pilot Pack / Full Part: 1 teacher account included. Add extra teachers via Specialist Membership ($245/year per teacher). Whole Programme: unlimited teachers — School License is bundled in.

After your 12-month access expires, teachers who want to continue as certified Practical Learning Specialists can subscribe to the Specialist Membership ($245/year). Schools that bought the Whole Programme get this included for every teacher — no recurring fees.

A School License lets every teacher at your school access all 15 Units of e-learning, plus Specialist Membership for all staff. It's bundled into the Whole Programme ($14,995) at no extra cost. If you started with a Pilot Pack or Full Part and later want to scale to a School License, upgrade to the Whole Programme and the School License activates automatically.

Internationally, yes — we serve both private and public schools with budget for comprehensive curriculum programmes. In the Netherlands specifically, doelab.nl has dedicated pricing and delivery models for Dutch public schools.
