Oberon 2023 — IKC de Brink
Two-year study with 35 students (ages 8–12). Overall social-emotional development improved by 44%. All four domains grew: self-confidence, motivation, independent work and collaboration. 100% of teachers said students participated with enthusiasm.
Oberon 2021 — National study
Large-scale research across 26 schools with 221 students, 147 teachers and 65 parents. Found that 96% of students enjoyed participation, with significant gains in self-confidence (+43%) and motivation (+40%).
Nelemans 2019 — Amsterdam
Commissioned by the Municipality of Amsterdam at Daltonschool De Poolster. Confirmed improved perseverance, motivation, and problem-solving among 25 students. Teachers noted stronger engagement and ownership of learning.
